Andrew Firestone: Melissa Rycroft Got "Sweet Revenge"

The Bachelor star Jason Mesnick is finally getting some sympathy from former Bachelor Andrew Firestone.
Find out what other Bachelor couples are still together.
Although Firestone tells Usmagazine.com that he doesn't know if Mesnick and girlfriend Molly Malaney -- the woman he dumped fiancee Melissa Rycroft for on the show's post-finale special -- will last, he is certain that Rycroft's rise to stardom on Dancing With the Stars is some serious payback.
"I bet you it has to be difficult for them to watch Melissa and all her success!" Firestone tells Us, laughing. "Talk about sweet revenge for her!"
See funny DWTS rehearsal photos.
Firestone, who told Us in March that the latest Bachelor "was acting like an ass" for rejecting the DWTS finalist on national television, is considering following in Rycroft's nimble footsteps.
"Well, my mother was actually a professional ballerina with the royal ballet," he told Us at Maxim's 10th Annual Hot 100 celebration in Santa Monica on Wednesday. "She danced with Margot Fontaine so I dont know if that gives me an edge or would hurt me as far as having the genetics to actually do it."
Take a look at other stars who have called off their engagements.
Firestone says that his new son -- he and wife Ivana welcomed Adam Brooks, 8 weeks, in March -- has given him plenty of dance practice.
"I do a lot of dancing with Brooks when he is trying to go to sleep, and he is crying," Firestone says. "I do a lot of the side step. I don't know if that is a move that they judge on, but I can do the wiggle!"

Bachelorette Jen Schefft Gets Married

After searching for love on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Jen Schefft has found it!
She married fellow Chicagoan Joe Waterman Friday evening in a "traditional yet modern" Windy City ceremony.
Us and WeddingChannel.com are giving away another celebrity-inspired Dream Wedding. Enter here!
Schefft, 32, met Waterman, 35, four years after giving up on reality TV romance
"We clicked early on, and it happened so fast," she told Usmagazine.com in April. "We just got along so well, and it was so easy. I never worried when I'd see him again or when he'd call."
He proposed this past September, but a month after they got engaged Schefft was laid off from her sales job. She became determined to have a low-cost -- but high-style -- wedding.
Take a look at what other stars got engaged this year.
(In fact, during an exclusive Us Weekly photo shoot, she tried on gorgeous gowns under $1,000 -- and shared her best budget tips!)
The small ceremony -- which she promised wouldn't include any Bachelor roses -- included fewer than 100 guests.
"You don't want to exclude anyone, but ultimately I just wanted close friends and family," she said. "It's about Joe and me, not entertaining 400 people."
See photos of the most romantic celebrity weddings.
Above all, Schefft told Us what was most important to her on the big day.
"Getting married to Joe and sharing that with everybody we love and the people who love us," she said. "And the first time I see him and I'm in my wedding dress and he's at the end of the aisle -- I'm very excited for that moment!"
Find out where your favorite Bachelor contestants are now.
Before she found her soulmate in Waterman, Schefft was the winner of The Bachelor's third season and engaged to Andrew Firestone. She moved to San Francisco to be with him, but their relationship soon fizzled and they called off their engagement in December 2003. She later turned down a proposal on 2005's The Bachelorette.

New America Ferrera film looks at effects of war

MEXICO CITY - "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera is hoping her new film will inspire Americans to address the struggles soldiers face after they come home from Iraq or Afghanistan.
The 25-year-old is starring and producing "The Dry Land," which follows a young man's difficulties readapting to small town life following a tour of duty.
Ferrera says the United States "should have an honest discussion about the effects that war has on our society, on the men who come back, on the families that are broken from it."
She said Friday in a phone interview she hopes the film ignites such discussion.
Ryan O'Nan and Melisa Leo also star in the movie, which was written and directed by Ferrera's beau, Ryan Piers Williams.
